Membership Costs

LEFA annual membership fees for 2021/22 are:
Adults: £55;  Juniors: £25;  Family: £110;  Associate (non-shooting) £5

All memberships run over a calendar year from 1st April to 31st March.  People who join after 1st January, who are new to the club, receive a membership which lasts until March the following year.

The cost of membership is low because our members contribute their time and effort into making our club successful, interesting and a pleasure to be a member of.  Activities contributed include course laying, target face making, catering, general maintenance, helping at events and other areas where individuals can brings their own skills to bear. This is done voluntarily by our members and is what makes our club successful.

Who are LEFA?

E-mail Print PDF

Long Eaton Field Archers are a field archery club, run entirely by volunteers. We have about 200 members, mostly from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and neighbouring counties.  We put on club shoots for our members, open shoots for other clubs, beginners courses and ongoing coaching and more, all in a wood near Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Field archery is archery done in the woods as opposed to Target archery which takes place on a field.  Confused? Don't be.  At the end of the day we are all archers with very similar disciplines, but we have different types of bows, targets, and areas in which we shoot. Read 'What is Field Archery' and take a look at our gallery and it will become clearer.

Interested?  Want to know more?  Read on, your questions will be answered, or vist our  Contact LEFA  page and we will get back to you with answers.
